Drives 6x4 or 6x2 as three-axle vehicle.

Together with our customers, we design vehicles with 6x4 or 6x2 drives and an additional axis perfectly aligned with the respective transport tasks.

A vehicle with an admissible total weight of 4.6 t or 5.0 t is considered the basic vehicle. All all-wheel specific data remain unchanged.

To warrant permanent quality and function of the all-wheel drive even under the hardest of conditions, the IGLHAUT-vehicles and additional components are subjected to thorough testing. For development, the company places high value on cooperating with experienced and renowned suppliers from the automotive industry.

Up to four tons of payload, coupled with confidence and reliability on- and off-road. Outstanding off-road performance for drives on demanding terrain. The combination of permanent all-wheel drive, three 100 % differential locks and gear reduction ensure safe and comfortable driving off- and on-road.

We equip two-axle transporters with an additional axle to increase the admissible total weight to up to 7.5 tons.

Example: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

The permanent all-wheel drive is designed for the best traction.

The power distribution between the front and rear axles takes place at the ratio of 50:50.

Three 100 % differential locks put the drive force where the traction is best. They can be activated individually. The grip of a single wheel is enough for driving the vehicle.

The off-road reduction ensures best traction on difficult terrains, e.g. in sludge or sand, when manoeuvring with heavy trailers or steep drives up or down the mountain. It can be activated via the low-range lever.

New Sprinter End Car by IGLHAUT

The payload and comfort innovation. The new Sprinter end car by IGLHAUT permits special equipment such as automatic 7G-Tronic, air conditioning, comfort seats, etc.

Goods of any kind can be transported with payloads of up to 3,260 kg and an admissible overall weight of 7,490 kg. The RCP 75 can be driven by holders of a class 3/C1 driver's license. Logistics pros need reliable and flexible solutions. The RCP 75 meets them outstandingly.

The RCP 75, which meets the exhaust standard EURO 6, is the tried and tested problem solution: in addition to internal distributor services, it is also suitable for general goods transport. This is ensured by the diverse selection of goods attachments and accessories.

Daring Sprinter conversion for special vehicles in desert regions.

We will solve unusual customer wishes with technical know-how.

In addition to the general off-road properties, the acceleration values and the maximum speed.

The vehicles were not only equipped with an IGLHAUT all-wheel drive, but also with a V8 5.5 litre motor. This motor has an output of 388 PS (285kW) as well as a maximum torque of 530 Nm. The displacement amounts to 5,461 ccm.

This kind of all-wheel conversion is an everyday matter for us, but will never become routine! We solve unusual customer wishes with our technical know-how and our more than 30-years of experience until even the last detail matches the customer's expectations.

Differential Lock for Serial Vehicle at the Rear Axle

The lock is purely mechanical with a 100% locking effect for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Mercedes-Benz Vito / Viano and Volkswagen Crafter.

There are situations in which a locking differential is of benefit. This includes start-up under difficult conditions off-road. The locking differential diverts the drive torque from a slipping wheel to the wheel with the better ground adhesion and thus improves traction. Watering of boats in slip systems isn't entirely without problems either.

Mostly 100 % locks are used as traction differentials (i.e. differential locks).

A locking differential is a special differential gear in a multi-track vehicle with the purpose of preventing one wheel from spinning at bad ground adhesion and the other – and thus the vehicle as a whole – no longer receiving any drive torque.

The best solution, not only for off-road fans.

Raising of serial vehicles with 4x2.

Raising offers several benefits, not only for off-road use.

More ground clearance, e.g. for caravans driving onto ferries

Serial vehicles 4x2

Installation of a transfer case as a reduction gear that can be activated without driven front axle has the following benefits:

This way, the reduction gear facilitates start-up and shunting in mountainous areas with heavy vehicles or in trailer operation.

The vehicle can be shunted without using a sliding clutch (protection of the clutch) or started at the slope.

The gear reduction is particularly suitable for deployments in which in which low speeds are needed continually, e.g. when removing oil tracks, when watering boards in slip systems.

Undercarriages and Brakes
for Armed Vehicles.

Special undercarriage and brake components in armed vehicles.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Vito / Viano and VW Crafter, shock absorption systems coordinated with the vehicle with the corresponding additional springs, a tension and pressure-stage adjustment and external expansion containers are retrofitted.

Further modification includes 4- and 6-piston brake systems with comfort or sports linings, special rims and run-flat systems.
